A 2nd story addition and complete remodel of a Wallingford bungalow. The existing first floor was a collection of isolated rooms that were opened up to connect the main living spaces. Traditional elements and details were re-imagined using contemporary methods and materials. Care was taken to keep the scale of the house in harmony with the existing neighborhood. All wood that was removed during the extensive demolition was de-nailed and re-used in the project.
